As per government legislation all Lifting Machinery must be subjected to a thorough inspection every 6 months.
Extract of Driven Machinery Regulation 18.6
(6) Notwithstanding sub-regulation (5), the user shall cause all ropes, chains, hooks or other attaching devices, sheaves, brakes and safety devices forming an integral part of a lifting machine or hand -powered lifting device to be subjected to a thorough examination by a Competent person at intervals NOT exceeding 6 months.

All inspections reports are completed on an electronic app to the specific machinery or equipment specified inspection criteria on C.G Ton Lifting Consultants inspectors or technician’s smartphones.
These inspections with detailed pictures as found reflecting the true state of the equipment is then uploaded for processing to our data processing department where editing takes place and certifications is generated.
Our clients then receive the detailed inspection reports in Hard Copy files [printed] or Electronic Copy [data stick], or can be mailed Electronically in Zip files.
Lifting machinery of lifting equipment that not meets the inspection criteria due to defects are tagged Failed= Repairs Needed and removed from service, isolated in the clients isolation cage whereafter it is repaired, reinspected and tagged and released to be safely used. Permanently discarded equipment is listed and taken out of service to be replaced. We immediately offer a quotation to replace the failed discontinued equipment.
