Extract of Driven Machinery Regulation 18.7

(7) (a) Every user of a lifting machine or hand-powered lifting device shall at all times keep on their premises a register in which the user shall record or cause to be recorded full particulars of any performance test and examination referred to in sub regulations (5) and (6) and any modification or repair to such lifting machine or hand- powered lifting device, and shall ensure that the register is available on request for inspection by an inspector. (b) Every user of a leased lifting machine or hand – powered lifting device shall at all times keep on their premises a register in which the user shall have the latest applicable performance test and service records not older than 12 months. (c) The owner and the lessor of leased equipment shall keep and maintain full service history records on their premises for at least 10 years.

Certification with regards to new Lifting equipment, tackle or apparel.

Certifications are confirmation that your lifting machinery, lifting tackle and lifting equipment com- plies with international, national, and local requirements and is required by law.

According to directives as stipulated by the department of labor, a product certification made by a notified body is a prerequisite for new products to enter the market. Certificates are also an in- dependent statement from a “third party” providing that your dedicated efforts to ensure safety is adhered to, giving your employees piece of mind that the equipment they work with is safe to be used.

Certification on existing Lifting equipment ,Lifting tackle inspections and Load test.

All Lifting equipment , Lifting tackle or Lifting apparel that has been inspected , performance test- ed and load tested receives a Certificate of test after each Inspection , Performance test and Load test verifying that it is Safe to be used. If needed, we assess the lifting equipment you have on site and draw up registers to keep you on the safe side of the law.

Certification on Lifting Machinery and Lifting Structures inspections and Load test.

All Lifting Machinery, Lifting Structures that has been Inspected, Performance tested an Load test- ed receives a Certificate of Test after each Inspection, Performance test and Load test verifying that it is Safe to be used.
